Eklund Stockholm New York was founded summer of 2009 by Fredrik Eklund because Sweden lacked an international real estate brokerage specializing in the most exclusive properties. During the spring of 2010 a new product line was founded, Eklund Light, with listings priced below $1M. Later that year, the company opened its 4000 sqft corner retail showroom between Stureplan and Östermalmstorg.

Because of his record sales and celebrity clients, Fredrik Eklund is quoted on a weekly basis in The New York Times, The New York Post and Wall Street Journal. Fredrik has been named “the number one broker of his generation” numerous times by the press.
